RECIPE FOR LOW CARB FISH IN AN AIR FRYER
Purchase the freshest white fish that you can find. Because there are no bread crumbs, this is a low-carb fish recipe. Make the crust with crushed pork rinds or almond flour if you prefer a low-carb or keto version. We wanted to create a clean-tasting tilapia air fryer recipe with as few carbs as possible, which is still excellent without the crust. Add it to a bed of lettuce, and you’ve got yourself a fantastic lunch or dinner dish. Fresh lemon juice adds a special touch, so be sure to squeeze some on top!

INGREDIENTS
12 oz. tilapia fillets (340 g) or other white fish (2 filets-6 ounces each)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 mL)
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning (2.5 mL)
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) onion powder
To taste kosher salt or sea salt
Black pepper, freshly cracked, to taste
Parsley, freshly chopped
Slices of lemon

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the Air Fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
Clean the fish filets by rinsing them and patting them dry. Season with garlic powder, lemon pepper, onion powder, salt, and pepper after spraying or coating with olive oil spray. Rep on the other side.
Inside the air fryer’s base, place perforated air fryer baking paper. Spray the paper lightly. (If you don’t have a liner, spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with enough olive oil spray to keep the fish from sticking.)
On top of the paper, place the fish. Next to the fish, place a few lemon wedges.
Preheat the oven to 360°F and air fry the fish for 6-12 minutes, or until it can be flaked with a fork. The length of time depends on the thickness of the fillets.
Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley and toasted lemon wedges.
