Pasta with shrimp and fire-roasted tomatoes and feta

Shrimp pasta is a popular dish on many Italian restaurant menus, and it turns out that it’s simple to prepare and serve at home. Boil your favourite pasta form, and as the noodles cook to al dente, combine the garlic, shrimp, and tomatoes in a mixing bowl. Drain the pasta, stir it together, and serve with basil and feta for a simple shrimp meal.

Ingredients
Linguine pasta (1/2 pound)
One tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Three garlic cloves, minced
12 medium peeled and deveined shrimp
One can (14.5 oz.) fire-roasted tomatoes
One tablespoon of basil leaves, chopped
Season with salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Method

1st step
A big saucepan of lightly salted water should be brought to a boil. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until pasta is al dente; drain.

2nd step
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat while the pasta is cooking. Cook, constantly stirring, until the garlic is aromatic, about 1 minute. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque. Bring the tomatoes to a boil, then remove Basil, salt, and pepper to taste from the heat.

3rd step
Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and top with crumbled feta cheese.
